# PyAccessKit

> A typed, Pythonic library for creating and modifying Microsoft Access databases (.accdb) and applications
> from Python: tables, relationships, queries, data, forms and VBA modules, without raw COM/pywin32. It
> manages the Access process safely (never touches the user's own Access; no orphaned MSACCESS.EXE).

Key facts: Windows only for database work (specs import on any OS). Use `with AccessDatabase.create(...)`
or `with AccessDatabase.open(...)`. Access SQL dialect (Jet/ACE). Run `pyaccesskit guide` for the
version-matched guide for AI agents, `pyaccesskit doctor --json` to check the machine,
`pyaccesskit inspect DB --json` to read a database, `pyaccesskit schema` for JSON Schemas.
